There seems to be quite a few lucky bloggers and facebookers who have received their first Glossybox this morning. So i’m writing this now partly as a distraction so I don’t click on any links that may ruin the surprise for when mine arrives. I hope any of you who are reading this who have yours are enjoying the contents!
Last week I house sat with my boyfriend for a week whilst his parents were away, and whilst I took mostly all of the things I need for a week away from home there were a few things I didn’t take and really wish I did! Here’s the four products that I missed the most…
Boots Tea Tree and Witch Hazel Exfoliating Facial Scrub – Not even this scrub in particular (this just happens to be the own i’m using right now) but by day four my skin felt awful and my make up wasn’t applying as well (I have quite oily skin so I exfoliate my face about 2/3 times a week) which of course made me feel a lot less confident. One of the first things I did when I got back home was use this my skin instantly felt better.
Lee Stafford Poker Straight Flat Iron Spray – My absolute favourite thing about this spray is the smell, i’m awful at describing smells but i’m sure that if any of you have ever smelt it you’ll know what I mean. Without it my hair was difficult to straighten and a lot more frizzy. I actually went to Boots and bought a travel sized bottle for me to take on holiday once I realised that I can’t be doing without it for a week in Spain.
Body Shop Nail File – Yep, I know! I usually have a little nail kit that I keep in my bag but I have no idea where that disappeared to. Because I wash my hands so much my nails often go quite weak and go a bit ‘jaggedy’ quite easily, so a nail file for me is usually a must have.
MAC pro Longwear Concealer – This one hasn’t been a staple of my makeup case for all that long really, and it was just something I completely forgot to pop in my makeup bag while I was packing! I usually use this under my powder mineral foundation, making it last for ages and making it look quite flawless. So I felt I looked awful without it and had to re-apply my makeup more frequently.
So, those are a few of the products I missed whilst I didn’t have access to them – have any of you ever been in the same situation? What products do you miss while you’re away from home?
