On Monday afternoon my time as a student at Liverpool John Moores University officially came to an end at the beautiful setting of Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral. After three years of (
mostly) hard work and all the stresses that went alongside studying it feels strange that it’s all over, and I’m now officially a graduate with a 2:1 degree in English, Media and Cultural Studies.
I wore a beautiful dress from Chi Chi and – clearly forgetting I had to walk along a platform in front of 1,500 people – a pair of beautiful block heels from ASOS, but decided last minute to have a footwear change and go for the sensible option of very low wedges just in case I took a tumble.
The weather was perfect and the day was rounded off with pizza at Frankie and Benny’s then some drinks with friends. Despite it being quite bittersweet, the day was a lovely end to my time at university.
Congratulations to anyone else graduating this year!
