Valentines Day is all about showing loved ones that you care, but that doesn’t mean that you should leave yourself out! Well, at least that’s what I keep telling myself…
I, unfortunately, do not have enough money at the moment to treat myself this weekend (boo!) but since when has that stopped me from browsing about this wonderful internet of ours for things I would like to buy? Here are a couple of things I would treat myself to this weekend, if I was so inclined.
Ah, nothing quite cheers me up like a slick of lipstick. My collection is ever growing yet I just can’t seem to slow down the growth of my collection. My favourite lipsticks are all pink shades with blue tones because they’re so flattering, but there’s only one colour to go for considering it’s the day of love isn’t there? MAC’s Lady Danger is a shade I’ve been considering adding to my collection for a while now and it is the perfect Valentines shade.
At the moment I am really in a shoe mood, I can’t stop buying them and looking at them, as you can probably tell by my post over the weekend. The way I see it, you can choose the style of clothing you wear; one day a dress, the other jeans, but you always need to wear shoes! Whilst I certainly don’t need any more boots, I have been eyeing up a pair of Dr Martens – I’ve always heard good things about how comfortable they are and love the way they look, but I’ve never had a pair myself. The floral print on this pair is just lovely and adds a feminine edge to what is usually a very masculine boot.
Who doesn’t love a decent bit of stationary? A lovely new notepad and pen set is one of life’s unnecessary yet wonderful little luxuries. I still don’t have a 2015 diary (I am forgetting absolutely everything) so I really need to get one soon otherwise I may as well just pick up a 2016 one! I love this one from Paperchase, plus its from the same range as my desk planner that I use in work.
