Christmas Cocktail Recipes with Christmas Connections
Anyone who follows me on any form of social media will know that I quite enjoy a tipple or three. Whilst I am more than happy with a rum or whisky and coke, I can never turn down a decent cocktail and I figure a lot of you are the same! With this in mind, I thought I would share with you all some fantastic cocktails created by Cord Bar in Manchester for Christmas Connections. The cocktails all have a festive twist and promise a bigger kick than any grande toffee nut latte or black forest hot chocolate could ever give you.
Christmas Connections have created some very useful YouTube videos showing you, step by step, how to make these deliciously festive cocktails so you can try them out at home. If you don’t drink alcohol then don’t worry, as there is also a recipe for a (very indulgent) black forest mocktail. Yum!
Each of the cocktails created have a festive flair, for example Apple of My Eye mixes gingerbread syrup, bourbon whisky, tuaca and apple juice to create a delicious drink that tastes like homemade apple pie. Green Desire aims to taste like festive favourite, After Eights, with it’s mix of white chocolate liquor, mint liquor and brandy. The flavours of Santa Baby are inspired by Christmas Cake and is made from cranberry juice, cherry brandy and amaretto – seriously yummy. For the designated drivers and non-drinkers don’t fret because Christmas Connections have created a special little somethin’ somethin’ for you, too. The incredibly indulgent Black Forest Mocktail – black forest gateaux in drinkable form.
If you fancy making some of these festive cocktails this weekend (hey, it’s basically advent) then head over to the Christmas Connections Blog where you can see the full collection of recipes and masterclasses.
Thank you so much for reading!
