Graduation Day

On Monday afternoon my time as a student at Liverpool John Moores University officially came to an end at the beautiful setting of Liverpool’s Anglican Cathedral. After three years of (mostly) hard work and all the stresses that went alongside studying it feels strange that it’s all over, and I’m now officially a graduate with a 2:1 degree in English, Media and Cultural Studies.
I wore a beautiful dress from Chi Chi and – clearly forgetting I had to walk along a platform in front of 1,500 people – a pair of beautiful block heels from ASOS, but decided last minute to have a footwear change and go for the sensible option of very low wedges just in case I took a tumble.
The weather was perfect and the day was rounded off with pizza at Frankie and Benny’s then some drinks with friends. Despite it being quite bittersweet, the day was a lovely end to my time at university.
Congratulations to anyone else graduating this year!

Congrats on your degree! Love your dress and good call with the extra shoes. My graduation shoes were also lovely but not the best choice. I didn’t stumble but my oh my was that a slow walk across the stage, ha ha. πŸ™‚ x

Loving the dash of blue on your graduation cap – mine was all black. Yours looks much snazzier! πŸ™‚
