Heart Print Pinafore: River Island // Lace T-Shirt: H&M // Satchel: Primark // Shoes: Matalan // Gold Spike Necklace: Dorothy Perkins
Being ‘petite’, sometimes, is a bit of a pain in the behind. Trying to reach the top shelf in ASDA, not being able to see much at standing gigs and being smushed into peoples chests during hugs are just some of the negative aspects of being vertically challenged. One of the great things about it though is being able to fit into kids clothes. I have absolutely no shame in admitting that a growing chunk of my wardrobe is ‘age 12’ as opposed to ‘size 8’ and this dress is testament to why. I’d had my eye on this lovely navy River Island heart print pinafore dress for a while at the price of £22, then discovered the same dress in the girls section of the website for a mere £12. So whilst this one may be a teeny bit too short, it fits perfectly well and is definitely acceptable with a pair of black opaques. Plus the dent in my purse was much smaller.
Does anyone else have items in their wardrobe from the kids section? If not, would you ever buy from the kids section?
Also, I dragged my lovely boyfriend Tom out into the rain to take these snaps for me and he requested that I give him credit. So credit for these pictures goes to, erm, Tom.
