Some Body Shop Reviews

Hi guys, hope everyone had a good weekend. Mine involved working and a trip to the cinema to see Battle Los Angeles – the boyfriend’s choice but I enjoyed it nonetheless. I’m gonna write a quick review-style  post on a few of the items I posted about in my body shop groupon haul post last week.

First up is Skin Primer 02 Matte It, i’m no expert and I havent used a makeup primer for years since I ran out of a sample size bottle of Smash Box’s photo finish primer. However, I can definately tell a difference in the longevity of my makeup with this. The primer itself makes my skin feel quite silky and soft, and helps stop me from becoming shiny too quickly. I won’t lie and I do still need to pop on a bit of pressed powder in the middle of the day, but certainly less frequently than I do when i’m not using this. The tube is quite small, but to be honest you only need to use a tiny amount and it spreads really well. Overall, I think its pretty good for the price (£11) and whilst i’m not sure if i’ll be buying it again, i’ll most certainly be finishing the tube. (Which I think will last me quite a while!)
Second is the Seaweed pore perfector. I’d been looking for something like this for a while – I have hideously big pores on my nose in particular and i’ve been trying everything possible to try and shrink them. I’m gonna be honest, I wasn’t too sure what I thought about this until I caught a glimpse of my nose in the mirror at work today and noticed how smooth the skin on my nose looked. So whilst this definately isn’t a miracle for getting rid of pores – I definately think that it’s doing something positive.

Last but not least, I wanted to do a quick review of Deep Sleep Dreamy pillow & Body Mist – in short; I love it! I have real trouble sleeping – but not with this stuff. It very well may be a placebo, but I don’t care all I know is that i’m sleeping much better since i’ve started spritzing my pillow with it at night. I’m considering buying some other things from this range because I really do like it, and it smells really nice too! I think it’s completely worth the £10 and i’ll definately be buying it again.

Well I hope this post was atleast vaguely useful or interesting to some, i’m off to browse the interwebs some more and then get ready for bed! xx.
